The color of the stone reminds of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Eastern Washington. There are so many fabulous hikes in this preserve that end at pristine alpine lakes. The earrings represent the same calm and peace that I feel sitting at the edge of the lake. Well worth the sweat and tired legs.

The silver is hand forged then hammered for strength and geometrical interest. They are about 4cm long from the earwire. Smooth Chrysoprase pillows are wire wrapped at the bottom of a rectangle. I love how these earrings move! The earwire is also handmade and is hypoallergenic.
