Enamel is a fine layer of glass that has been kiln fired onto metal. It's a lot of fun to use in the jewelry studio because of the variety and color it offers. It is quite a bit of work, but I am addicted to this art form! Each piece is cut and shaped by me and then fired in a kiln multiple times.

These domes are copper beneath with blue, silver, and pink enamel fired on both sides for added strength. Gorgeous color and unique style. The pendant is about 1.5" long. It hangs from an approximately 16" thin leather cord and is secured with a sterling silver clasp.

Truly one of a kind, enamel can never be exactly reproduced.
